Corners Up Strategy Game.
Are you smart enough to collect the most horns?
A game that involves strategically arranging pawns so that when you are done, you have as many of your pawns as possible located on the corners of the pyramid. Planning, timing, and a bit of luck come together in this exciting, fast-paced, strategy game for kids and adults who enjoy puzzles and logical challenges.
Each player receives 20 pawns of one color. Each turn, players must place one of their blocks next to or on top of other blocks inside a 4x4 (16 pawns in the base) or 5x5 (25 blocks in the base) layout, thus building a pyramid.
When players form a 2x2 square with four blocks, the player who has the most pieces in that square can place their next piece on those four blocks.
Can you outsmart others to provide you with the best moves?
The game continues until the last piece is placed, the top of the pyramid. Then count the horns - the one who has the most corners of the pyramid wins!
Corner-Facing Strategy Game:
Aim of the game:
The goal of the game is to place as many of your pieces on the corners of the pyramid.
Course of the game:
Each player chooses their own color of pawns. The youngest player starts.
When a 2 or 3 player game the base of the pyramid is to be 4x4 pawns, when a 4 player game the base of the pyramid is to be 5x5 pawns.
1. The first player starts by placing the first pawn within reach of each player.
2. In each turn, players must place their pawns (A) next to an already standing pawn (so that the pawns touch) or (B) on top of the four already placed pawns in a 2x2 arrangement.
Additional free movement:
When a square is formed from four pawns (2x2) and there are the most pawns of one color in this square, the player to whom the color belongs immediately places his pawn on this square.
The extra move is not counted as a player's turn. Making an additional move may result in additional slow movements.
When a 2x2 square is formed and no player owns the majority, no additional free move is granted.
End of the game:
The game ends when the pyramid is built. Each player counts their pieces on the corners of the pyramid at each level.
Remark: The pawn at the top of the pyramid is counted as one of the corners.
When played by 2 or 3 players, the pyramid with a 4x4 base has 13 corners.
When played by 4 players, the pyramid with a 5x5 base has 17 corners.
The player with the most corners occupied wins!
Draw:
In the unlikely event of a tie, the winner will be decided by a quick pyramid game with a 3x3 base.
