CHICCO EDUCATIONAL MAT EXPLORE THE WORLD-PLAY AND CODE

A unique mat for learning and playing

Fly with Captain Cody and explore the world as you code. It is the first coding toy designed for children aged 2 and up, and it grows with them until the age of 6.

The Explore the World - Play and Code mat is a new way to develop logical and spatial thinking, as well as to introduce children to computer programming, a skill useful in the future.

The aircraft recognizes where it has landed, so it is able to provide immediate feedback or guidance on how to complete each mission.

Mode: Free Exploration (2 years)

Travel freely around the world, and when you see a place of interest, land on it and you will get to know the animals and people who live there.

Free Explore Mode will help you familiarize yourself with all the areas on the mat by scanning the animals and continents by their colors, the typical sound of each animal, and the traditional music genre of each country.

As you visit all the animals and continents, you will unlock fun Achievements.

Mode: Card Scanning (3-6 years)

Once you've explored the whole world and met all its inhabitants, you can start playing with mission cards.

Shuffle a deck of 31 cards and choose one. The cards have as many as 4 levels of difficulty, indicated by the number of stars on the back of each mission card.

Mode: Discovery Mission (3 years)

Listen to the sounds of animals or music characteristic of one of the continents and set off to your destination!

The toy will give you a clue, and if the answer doesn't match, it will help you get to the right place through a step-by-step guide.

In this mode, the child will improve the ability to think logically and remember.

Mode: Detective Mission (4 years)

Cody's plane will ask you a few questions and ask you to find a specific animal, place and common features of animals.

In this type of mission, the child will learn to recognize colors and logically match animals to the places where they live.

Flip the card over and move the plane over it. In a magical way, the plane will recognize the card and start its mission.

Travel Mission (5 years)

Learn the sequence and cause and effect of visiting animals and their places of residence in the correct order.

Look at the card and listen to what Cody asks you to do, then land in the 3 spaces presented on the card in the correct order.

Here the child will learn to follow the rules and instructions

Navigation Mission (6 years)

It's time for clean coding Pet hides: program the path with directional tiles and find the hidden animal at the end of it.

The missing animal was last seen during a visit to another animal. Head there, follow the arrows, and program your path with directional tiles.

Main features:

  • A toy tailored to your child's stage of development: from free travel around the world for children as young as 2 years old to learning the basics of each IT language and coding for children as young as 6 years old.
  • Each game is a new lesson: 70 facts about continents, animal life and their offspring.
  • 31 Mission Cards for Over 60 Missions: Choose a card, then scan it and start a new mission that will take you on a journey around the world.
  • Inside the box: 1 soft play mat (110 x 80 cm), 1 talking electronic aircraft, 31 mission cards, 15 direction tiles to program the path.
  • Innovative Color Recognition Technology: The toy is equipped with all-new color sensor technology that allows the aircraft to recognize 31 different mission cards and 20 animals and continents using color recognition software and hardware.
