It's a crib protector from the unique Bambino collection, designed in a beautiful car design inspired by the Fiat 126p. It goes perfectly with the rest of the Bambino baby products.

Our protector is made of very soft satin cotton. In addition, the protector has been finished with a thick release in a colour that matches the protector, making it very elegant.

It's got 12 pieces -- in addition to the standard horn pieces, we've added pieces for the so-called beds. "board" so you can fasten it nicely. This will make it very easy to attach the protector to the crib with the mattress lowered when the baby starts crawling on the crib. Then we attach an extra piece to the first free step of the board.

Our protector is unusual in that instead of a traditional filling, it has a two-centimeter-thick removable sponge insert. It is completely covered with white cotton and stitched into the corners of the bed, or every two inches [60 cm], to make it fit nicely.

In addition, the sponge, thanks to its density and elastic properties, will retain its perfect shape until the end when it is needed in the crib. It won't deform, fall, or slide down the stairs. It keeps its shape, stability, and most importantly, its function of protecting the baby from injury.

The insert matches all of our bed sheets, so there's an option to buy an extra bedsheet in a different design and enjoy the bed cover all the time. There will then be no problem with the extra protector while the first one is, for example, in the laundry.

The protector is locked in a lock with a safety slide along its entire length so that the insert from the sponge can be easily inserted into the inside of the pad.

• wash in the washing machine at 30°C
